In this study, we got to know the city we live in with my students more deeply.I read the oldest stories of Istanbul to my students.We chose one of the stories together with my students.They chose the story of the Maiden's Tower.One of my students told the story.She wore local clothes.He wore a vest with the symbol of tulips. Tulip symbol is one of the symbols of Istanbul.The children loved the story. The old tales of the city they lived in influenced them. After the epidemic, they will go to see the Maiden's Tower with their families.Our project taught children their own history and fairy tales in a fun way and they were very happy.
